Are You Afraid of the Dark?

"Are You Afraid of the Dark" was a TV show that aired in 1990 in Canada and 1991 in America. The first pilot episode was called "The Tale of the Twisted Claw".



If you remember correctly, each episode started off with a group of kids (who referred to themselves as "The Midnight Society") sitting around a camp fire in the middle of woods. One person from the group would then be selected to tell a scary ghost story, with that story being acted out throughout the episode.



At the end of a story, members of the Midnight Society would often be so afraid that they'd run off home.
