The Land Before Time

The Land Before Time is an animated movie about dinosaurs that was released back in November, 1988 (that's 24 years ago!). This was the same year that George Bush (senior) defeated Democratic Party nominee Michael Dukakis for the US Presidency. It was also the year that the Soviet Union withdrew its armed forces from Afghanistan.



The movie follows Littlefoot and his friends as they search for the "Great Valley", an almost-mythical place that is rich in food, water and shelter. The group (seen above) was made up of Littlefoot, Cera, Ducky, Spike and Petrie. The movie is actually available on Youtube:

It's also worth noting that the movie spawned a series of movies that were continuously released throughout the 1990s and the 2000s.
